The Clothing Industry Training Authority, H. Stoll GmbH & Co. Kg and Chetmax (Stoll) Co Ltd was signed an Memorandum of Understanding of Collaborative Agreement. The Signing Ceremony was held on 21 April 2006 at CITA, Kowloon Bay. Stoll and Chemtax were provided 1 set CMS 530 Multi-gauge E7.2 Knitting Machine and 6 sets of Patterning M1 Design Software to CITA. In order to set up the training centre and provide the new technology to the textile industry.
A new model of Stoll CMS 530 machine and 6 sets of patterning design software will be put in CITA. This will let CITA to open more training courses for the part or full time junior technicians and integrated coaching courses for people who want to enhance their knowledge of merchandising and manufacturing management.
Stoll machine had been installed in VTC, which is mainly for the new technicians who are finished from secondary schools and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University for the designers and merchandisers.
