| On
11th to 13th May, Santoni Spa - The world leader for the Seamless
technology and Chemtax Industrial Co., Ltd., together with
HKIAIA jointly organized the "New Concepts in Santoni
Seamless Apparel Manufacture" in the HITEC, Hong Kong;
in order to encourage their students for joining the seamless
fashion competition, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University
acted as a co-organizer.
In the
last few years, Chemtax has led a number of Santoni Seamless
Circular Knitting machines into the great China market,
many of the users are successfully developed their new era
and business. With the good chance of Santoni releasing
their new models, the event specially introduced the following
new machines to the users in Hong Kong: SM4-TL2, SM4-TR2.
The
Intarsia structures, which could only be produced by the
flat knitting machines of coarse gauge at low productivity,
can now be achieved by the newly developed SM4-TL2 with
its fine gauge at high productivity.
The
other model SM4-TR2 has 4 feeds single jersey circular electronic
device, with 2 section points for the knitting of fishnet
or anti-drop stitch structure.
Besides
the above 2 new models, the event showed other 3 types of
machines which they are the most salable: SM4-PLUS3, SM8-TOP2
& SM9.
In order
to let the majority of visitors receive deeper imagination
to the real 3-D seamless fashion effects, the event arranged
2 fashion shows on 11th May, which showed different series
of seamless fashions such as underwear, beachwear, outerwear,
sportswear and knitted wear. All the demonstrated fashions
are produced by Santoni Seamless Circular Knitting machines.
Concurrently,
there were 3 seminars namely "New Trend, New Concepts,
and Know-how on Seamless Apparel", "The Innovative
Yarn Solutions for Seamless Technology", and "TIM
ERP - Textile Integrated Manufacturing Enterprise Resources
Planning". The seminar series were intended to provide
participants with insights into the application and integration
of related technologies.
